Maths language

This week we have been learning about place value to 30, 50 0r 1000. When we talk about what was tens and units, we now talk about tens and ones. This is also the same for what was hundreds, tens and units which is now hundreds, tens and ones. Numbers before 30, 40, 31, 41 and after 29, 39, 30, 40 were quite tricky for some as could numbers before 130, 140, 231, 341 and after 329, 339 etc.
